Ordered a deep dish pizza, AWFUL! It was mostly sauce with pale looking sausage slivers, NO cheese. So we call and nicely tell them we think they forgot the cheese and all the woman manager says is that's how its supposed to be. I think pizza is suppose to have mozzarella cheese at the least! Sad thing is we WERE regulars but after this manager, no more.

Giving it 5 stars for the pizza but the atmosphere is really a bar scene. Loud music makes conversation almost impossible.

I just moved into the area and decided to try out the local pizza places. I saw the other review claiming this place had a sauce similar to Aurelios' and decided to give it a shot. I called in an order for a sausage pizza and it was ready for pick up in 30 minutes which I was pleased with. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. The pizza however left me a bit disappointed. The sauce was sweet like I had read; however, the crust was soft not crispy. They put a lot of cheese on there which was good; but the sausage in my opinion was just a step above something I'd get out of a freezer at a grocery store. Maybe I've been spoiled by other pizza places but this was ok, not great and I'd be willing to go back and try it again. Oh Gelsosomos --have I told you lately that I love you? The best pizza you can get in Cedar Lake --delivered to your door. You have become my Friday night staple. What to say...what to say? Their sauce has a tangy sweetness that the Southsider in me loves (reminds me a bit of Aurelios), and their crust is the perfect, crisp, cracker thin snap that holds everything up well. Delivery service is spot-on; I've never waited more than 50 minutes for a dinner to arrive. I've also tried their wings...the hot wings are okay, but their Teriyaki wings are AWESOME. They do a great antipasto salad as well. Actually, I've never had a bad meal from this place. Overall, I am so happy to have a place like this in Cedar Lake. Almost feels like home now. :)

First time ordering this pizza. Little hesitant as always, trying a new place, but I was suprisingly impressed. Sauce was sweet with a touch of tanginess, crust was a tad softer than I like, but ends were crusty and delicious! The pizza had a lot of flavor! I could taste the basil and oregano with every bite. It was the perfect amount of spice. I don't actually remember any other pizzas I've eaten that had such a nice aroma. I did add jalapenos as one of my toppings, and usually I expect wimpy no heat ones. Nope, not these babies!! These were SUPER hot! (which I enjoy). I just hope this wasn't a fluke, but I'd ordered these again on every pizza. Oh, I did saute my own mushrooms since I forgot to add them. I want to try other unique toppings they offer like BBQ and BLT. If you like a sweeter sauce, and a crust more on the softer side than, crispy,give this restaurant a try.

Ordered delivery and crust tastes like cardboard, literally, & looks like it. I make homemade pizza and dough and it's Almost like maybe they forgot to add the yeast or it's days old dough and has lost it's rising ability. This place had really tasty pizza when they first came to town and now it's just very disappointing n sooo not worth the $$. And delivery guy was Super rude when I accidently dropped his pen in my sticker bush n I apologized he sarcastically said, "oh it's not like I need pens" really?! This place is a JOKE don't waste ur $$, go to rascals in at John.

We have tried this place over and over. Huge turnover of staff, which is never a good sign for any business because it tells you something isn't working. The food keeps changing, and NOT for the better. What was worse yet is that we had to sit and listen to the waitresses and bartender stand there talking crap about each other right in front of customers! All really young. It was embarrassing to listen to and unprofessional. There are some overserved regulars that were being totally obnoxious and where was the manager??? So it looks like we don't need to go back here any more. We like the trivia guy, though. Pass this place up. There is much better a little bit south.

Will not be ordering from here again. I gave them 3 extra chances to fix their problem. They used to be good. I don't know if they are cutting costs or have a new head cook, but the crust is paper thin. Literally. Some spots had only the cheese holding it together. So far they are following the same steps as Zuni's that was up the street and closed. Their pizza was good too. Then same problem. Won't be back. Hope they fail.

An update from my previous review....when we called to use our "comp'd" pizza, they conveniently did not have us in the system. Do not waste your time with this place!

We had ordered many times for delivery and 80% of the time, the order was incorrect, especially our need for light cheese due to dietary issues....we had complained, returned and got free pizzas/gift cards many times....we had decided that we would not order to-go any more, due to this, which we have not in many months. Tonight we decided to try eating in...and............lo and behold......they got my order wrong....AGAIN!!!!! Cheese was heavy the first time around and they gave us the wrong size....the second try (which I waited 30 minutes for as the rest of my family got to eat) was still too heavy on the cheese and again the wrong size!!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!! and the manager, who I came in to talk to in person previously, did not have the courage to come and talk to us when we complained.... its too bad....if they can make your pizza right, it is very good.... wish I could rate it less than one star...
